Outdoor Play
Large motor activites are a very important part of your child's day. Recesses are scheduled in the morning and afternoon. Please make sure your child comes with appropriate clothing. It is always a good idea to send along a jacket or sweater, even on nice days, as the weather can quickly change. In the winter, it is important to send a snow suit, boots, mittens, and a hat each day. On severly cold winter days, we do not go outdoors.
Illness/Accidents
All staff members are certified in First Aid and CPR and handling blood-borne pathogens. They are also qualified in EpiPen use.
Children with a fever, excessive couphing, skin rashes, diarrhea or flu systems should not cone to school. Contagious illnesses should be reported so we may alert others of the symptoms to watch for.
Prescribed medication may be given if the child's name, medicine name, doctor's name, date, time and amount is clearly labeled, and a medicine chart is filled out.
